I've fallen in love with this place called Poche Doughnut. It has a thousand little details and that's one of the things that make it so charming. Plus, you can grab some cofee and doughnuts, which is always nice. If you haven't, I suggest you to go and have a look.

I've finally found a place pretty enough and on my price range that I'm able to call my home now. I'm having so much fun decorating it and just chilling out in my pijamas, so that's the reason I haven't blogged as much these days. Be sure to come and visit!

Birthday Girl

Earlier this week was my rezz date. That means I've been in SL for two whole years! So, in honour of my second SL birthday I indulged myself with new hair (yay!) and I hit some bars to have a drink or two.I can't believe how fast those years have gone by, it seems like only yesterday I was taking my very first photos.

I was pretty in a noob way, wasn't I? :P

There are a few things I wish somebody had told me so I wouldn't have to find out myself, so for those of you who haven't found out yet here's the Claudia's Guide To Look Awesome In Second Life! :P. Here it goes:

1 - Invest in a good shape. I spent way too much time in SL being way too tall and having the skinniest legs ever and I thought it looked fine! Thank god I finally gave up and bought a much better shape. My favourite ones are the Juicy Shapes, wich are created by the fellow blogger JuicyBomb. All the right curves in all the right places!

2 - Skip Freebie Markets. Yes, most of the things they have on these places are free, but most of the time the quality is so bad that the items aren't worth the lag. Instead check shops like Coco wich offer high quality group gifts. An extra tip: blogs like FabFree or Free*Style review free clothing and descounted items. My virtual wardrobe wouldn't be the same without them!

3 - Clean your inventory. It may not seem crucial if you've got only a few items, but if you're like me and try to be under 9,000 it becomes very important. Delete files that you won't use such as old clothing or notecards and use folders to separate your stuff.

4 - Shop in the marketplace. It's so much easier since you can use the search button to find what you want and you'll find new great stores. Plus, you won't have to fight the lag

5 - Windlight settings! Your browser and your snapshots won't ever look the same. If you're still hesitant, look up for a few tutorials and thank me later ;)

It seems like every blog is joining the 12 Days of Lingerie Blog Challenge! I wasn't too convinced to do it at first because, even if I own way too much sexy lingerie inworld, that wasn't the way I wanted to introduce myself to my blog readers. Of course I ended up giving in and trying to put together a sweet look, and I really like what came out. It was very different from creating the outfits I normally would wear, but I enjoyed it so much! Expect more like these soon ;)

Yo no estaba muy convencida al principio porque, incuso si tengo cientos de conjuntos sexys de lenceria en Second Life, esa no era la forma en la que quería presentarme a mis lectores del blog. Por supuesto acabé cediendo e intentando crear un look dulce, y verdaderamente me encanta el resultado. Here I am again! January has veen a super tough month an that's the reason I've benn such a bad blogger. But hey, I'm back and I promise I'll be back for good. I'm not a big fan of wearing winter clothes in SL, in fact, I could wear sundresses all year round, but when I saw this cozy sweater at RibboN, I decided to give winter clothes a chance, at least for one day! What do you think of the result?



Aquí estoy otra vez! Enero ha sido un mes muy duro y esa es la razón por la que he sido tan mala blogger. Pero, eh, estoy de vuelta y prometo publicar muchos más posts. No me gusta demasiado llevar ropa de invierno en SL, de hecho podría llevar vestiditos de verano durante todo el año, pero cuando vi este jersey en RibboN, decidí dar a la ropa de invierno una oportunidad, al menos por un día! ¿Qué opináis del resultado?

   Since it's already December maybe it's not the best time to do a bare legs outfit but you see, I can't go out in RL with a nice skirt without freezing my ass out SL will have to made up for it :D
   For this outfit I put together two of my favourite things in clothing: pleated skirts and leopard. I love the way a distressed top goes with a high waist skirt and since I have one of them in my inventory, that's the one I chose for this pretty-non-appropiate-for-winter look. At my feet, one of the new group gifts from Baby Monkey. They are men's, but with a little bit of resizing you'll be fine and I just adore the way they look. I promise some winter outfits in the following days!


   Ya que estamos en Diciembre quizás no es el mejor momento para crear un conjunto con las piernas al aire pero veréis, no puedo salir en RL con una falda mona sin helarme entera, asi que SL tendrá que compensar eso :D
   Para este conjunto combiné dos de las cosas que más busco en la ropa: faldas plisadas y leopardo. Me encanta la manera en la que un top ancho va con una falda de cintura alta y ya que tengo uno de esos en mi inventario, ése es el que escogí para este bonito y absolutamente no apropiado para el frio conjunto. En mis pies, uno de los nuevos regalos de grupo de Baby Monkey. Son de chico, pero con unos pocos ajustes están bien y simplemente me encantan. ¡Prometo algún conjunto de invierno en los proximos días!

Witchcraft

  This dress from Gato is my new favourite piece, it has the perfect shape and quirky print and, the best of all, it's the perfect item to add and edgy touch to your regular outfits and throw a little bit of angsty-creepy-kid on them. Of course, you can always soften the result, taking off the cross necklace and the black lipstick, but it wouldn't be as fun ;)
   What do you think of the result? I'm afraid to say that I'm loving it, be prepared for more creepy kid touches here and there!


   Este vestido de Gato es mi nueva pieza favorita, tiene la forma perfecta y un estampado peculiar y, lo mejor de todo es que es el vestido perfecto para añadir un poco de vida a tus conjuntos normales y ponerles un poco de chico-solitario-angustiado en ellos. Por supuesto, siempre puedes suavizar el resultado quitando el collar con la cruz y el pintalabios negro, pero claro, no sería tan divertido ;)
  ¿Qué opináis del resultado? Me da miedo decir que decir que me encanta, ¡estad preparados para más toques espeluznantes aquí y allá!

Happy Hippie

   How cute are my new fringe booties? For me, they're the best shoes Grumble has made for a while, without a doubt. The moment I saw them a my feet, I knew I had to wear a hippie-inspired outfit with them!
   I really like this dress from Aoharu but everytime I put it on, I spend about fifteen minutes trying to make their prims fit me even though I'm a regular size avatar. Don't you just hate that? Has it happened to you with this brand?
   I shoot these dreamy photos in C'est la vie Mainstore, the colours and the field there is simply unbelievable. And how about the elephant with face paint? My favourite!

   ¿Os gustan mis nuevas botas de flecos? Para mi, son los mejores zapatos que Grumble ha hecho en una temporada, sin duda. En el momento que los vi en mis pies supe que tenía que vestirme con un conjunto hippie!

   Me gusta mucho este vestido de Aoharu, pero cada vez que me lo pongo me paso unos cinco minutos intentando ponerme los prims adecuadamente, y eso que soy un avatar de talla media. ¿No odiais que os pase eso? ¿Os ha pasado con esta marca?

  Hice estas fotos tan soñadoras en la Mainstore de C'est la vie, los colores y el campo de allí son simplemente increibles. ¿Y qué me decís del elefante con pintura en la cara? ¡Mi favorito!

   Do you guys remember when I told you about my passion for plaid in this post? Well, it seems like Lucefeit Horngold, the owner of Luce Gold shops reads my mind (or at least my blog :P). I couldn't have pictured any item of clothing for the winter as perfect as these plaid rainboots, that now I desesperately look for in real life.
   I would have felt pretty weird in this outfit without an umbrella to carry with me, but since I could't find any rainy location nor do I have any photoshop skills, that's what you get: a water-proof outfit in the middle of a sunny meadow...well that's akward! Haha!

   ¿Os acordais de cuando os conté mi pasión por la tela escocesa en este post? Bueno, parece que Lucefeit Horngold, la dueña de las tiendas Luce Gold lee mi mente (o al menos mi blog :P). No podría haberme imaginado ninguna pieza de ropa tan perfecta como estas botas de lluvia de cuadros, que ahora busco desesperadamente en ls vida real.

  Me hubiese sentido bastante rara con este conjunto sin un paraguas que llevar conmigo, pero ya que no pude encontrar ninguna localización con lluvia ni tampoco tengo ninguna habilidad con el photoshop, esto es lo que os dejo: un conjunto a prueba de agua en el medio de un claro soleado...bueno, eso es incómodo! Haha!

   A couple of days ago I was checking out the new-to-me C'est Moi Mainstore and I was lucky enough to meet the designer, Marcantonio Beaumont. Honestly, how many times that happens? I remember the time I saw Lamb Bellic (the creator of Lamb) at her shop and I think I almost fainted and by the time I tried to talk to her, she was gone (okay, enough second life fangirl moments). Marcantonio was nice enough to talk to me and I discovered he was a very nice, down-to-earth person and very down-to-earth, so yay for friendly second life designers!

   Normally I think I would have paired this t-shirt with some jeans, but I wanted to create a more special look so I picked some nerd glasses I found at the marketplace and this gorgeous skirt. Of course, I couldn't shoot these photos in other place than in a library, what do you think about the result?


   Hace unos días estaba visitando la mainstore de C'est Moi, a la que nunca había ido y tuve la suerte de encontrarme con el diseñador, Marcantonio Beaumont. Cuántas veces tienes la oportunidad de algo semejante? Recuerdo la vez que vi a Lamb Bellic (la creadora de Lamb) en su tienda y creo que casi me desmayo y para cuando quise hablar con ella, se había ido (vale, ya son bastantes momentos de fan descontrolada). Marcantonio fue lo bastante simpático para hablarme y descubrí que era una persona muy agradable y con los pies en la tierra, asi que hurra por los diseñadores encantadores de second life!

   Normalmente creo que hubiese combinado esta camiseta con unos vaqueros, pero me apetecía crear un look un poco más especial, así que me puse estas gafas de empollón que encontré en el marketplace y esta preciosidad de falda. Por supuesto, no podía sacar estas fotos en otro lugar que no fuese una biblioteca. ¿Qué opinais del resultado?

   Today my favourite redhead, Sunny Broadmoor, asked me to help her to find a nice little dress. She likes colorful, fairytale-like dresses, so I figured out we should try at Cupcakes. Once there, I was greatly surprised because the Halloween Hunt I had completed back on October was still running (go check it out if you haven't, it'll be gone soon) and we had a lot of fun looking for the little pumpkins.

   She fell in love with this gown and asked me to do a quick impromptu photoshoot for the blog (she wants me to make her famous, haha :P) and since the other stop of our little adventure was Baby Monkey Shoes, we paired it with the new group gift of this shop, these adorable kitty flats. The resemblance between these and Marc Jacob's mice flats are obvious, and that's why I love the most about them! Finally at my feet! :)

   Hoy mi pelirroja favorita, Sunny Broadmoor, me pidió que la ayudase a encontrar un vestido bonito. A ella le gustan los vestidos coloridos, como de cuento de hadas, así que supuse que debíamos intentarlo en Cupcakes. Una vez alli, me sorprendí gratamente porque la Halloween Hunt que yo había completado en Octubre seguía en marcha (id a visitarla si aún no lo habéis hecho, se acabará pronto) y nos lo pasamos genial buscando las calabacitas.

   Se enamoró de este vestido y me pidió hacer una pequeña sesión de fotos improvisada (quiere que la haga famosa, haha :P) y ya que nuestra otra parada en nuestra diminuta aventura fue Baby Monkey Shoes nos pusimos el nuevo group gift de esta tienda, estas adorables bailarinas-gatito. El parecido entre este calzado y las bailarinas de ratón de Marc Jacobs son obvias, y eso es lo que más me gusta de ellas! Por fin en mis pies! :)

   Since everyone is saying how wonderful Vintage Fair is, today I’ve decided I'm going to fight the lag and try to find some bargains. But first I had to find the proper vintage looking outfit to feel a part of it, I'm a Second Life fashion blogger after all :P 

  

   This amazing dress is from Collabor88. As you may know, Collabor88 releases a brand new collection every month on the 8th with some of the best designers in Second Life. My all-time favorite designer, Julliette Westerburg (the creator of Tres Blah) also participates, so maybe you can imagine how excited I am when a new collection arrives and I can find such amazing items at great prices. I also bought the Juju jeans with the white lace that I'll show you soon.

  

   I decided that the dress should be the center of this look, so I only threw in some classic accessories like the pearl necklace and the oxford booties, plus this lovely hairstyle that completes the whole look. The best place to snap some pictures of this outfit was Cupcake Sim. I love its old Parisian athmosphere and being able to have some macarrons at Laudree. The best of all?  The Marché de Paris, a street market where some shops sell French inspired outfits, so worth a visit! 

  

  Ya que todo el mundo habla de lo maravillosa que es la Vintage Fair, hoy he decidido que voy a luchar contra el lag y ver si encuentro alguna ganga. Pero primero tenía que encontrar el conjunto vintage apropiado para la ocasión, soy una fashion blogger de Second Life después de todo :P

   Este maravilloso vestido es de Collabor88. Como quizá sabéis, Collabor88 lanza una colección nueva cada mes el día 8 y en ella participan algunos de los mejores diseñadores de Second Life, como Julliette Westerburg (la creadora de Tres Blah) mi diseñadora favorita, así que quizá comprendáis ahora lo emocionada que estoy cuando llega una nueva colección y puedo encontrar cosas geniales a un buen precio. También compré los Juju Jeans con el encaje blanco, que os enseñaré pronto.

  
   Decidí que el vestido debía ser el centro de este look, así que solo añadí algunos accesorios clásicos, como el collar de perlas y los botines Oxford además de este adorable peinado que completa el look. El mejor lugar para hacer las fotos para este conjunto tenía que ser Cupcake Sim. Me encanta su atmósfera antigua parisina y poder tomar unos macarrons en Laudree. Lo mejor de todo? El Marché de Paris, un mercado en la calle donde algunas tiendas venden ropa inspirada en Francia, merece la pena la visita!

   Today I want to show you to one of my favourite pair of shoes, these Red Plaid Pumps from Luce Gold. At this shop you can find the most amazing shoes at such a great price (I may or may not be drooling over those Black Velvet Clogs as I'm writing this) and also great pieces of home decor and furniture.
   Plaid is my new Fall addiction and, since I don't wear it in Summer because it makes me feel a little weird, I go crazy about it in the colder months. I always match these soes to some black clothing, but today I decided to spice it up a little bit by adding a bit of green to the red print and I couln't love more the result. What do you think about it? Is it to much Christmas-like for you? Let me know! Much love!

   Hoy quiero enseñaros uno de mis pares favoritos de zapatos, estos Red Plaid Pumps de Luce Gold. En esta tienda podéis encontrar unos zapatos geniales a un precio bastante razonable (Puede que esté imaginándome con esos Black Velvet Clogs mientras escribo esto) y también bonitas piezas de decoración y mobiliario.
   El tartán es mi nueva adicción para el otoño y ya que no lo llevo el verano porque me hace sentir un poco rara, me vuelvo loca con este estampado en los meses más fríos. Siempre combino estos zapatos con ropa negra, pero hoy decidí darles un poco más de vidilla añadiendo un poco de verde a la tela roja y no podía encantarme más el resultado! Qué opinais vosotros? Es demasiado de navidad?

  Yesterday, I was lucky enough to find this gorgeous dress as a 50 Linden Friday at Tres Blah. It has a lovely vintage feeling and I think it's just perfect. Today, I decided to match it to my new red leather jacket I got in R.icielli at their Halloween sale (all items in black, orange, red or purple are marked down to 30L$, which is perfect, but that doesn't include their shoes, wich is a pity) and to my favourite headband and throw in some red lips, too. What do you think about the result?
  Since I'm getting bored of pictures with just a plain white wall behind me, today I decided to open the Destiny's Guide and found something interesting. That's how I ended in this awesome Jazz Club, which is in Serafina Island and even though you can only see this red courtain (I found it appropiate for today's outfit, hehehe) it's a beautiful place where you can relax while listening to great music. Do you know any good places to take pictures?

  Ayer tuve la suerte de encontrar este precioso vestido por solo 50L$ en Tres Blah. Tiene un look vintage impresionante y creo que es simplemente perfecto. Hoy, decidí conjuntarlo con mi nueva chaqueta de cuero roja, que compré en las rebajas de Halloween de R.icielli (toda la ropa en negro, naranja, rojo o morado vale solo 30L$, lo que es fantástico, pero sería aún mejor si incluyese los zapatos) y mi diadema roja favorita, ademas de labios rojos para completar el conjunto. ¿Qué opinais del resultado?
  Ya me estaba aburriendo de las fotos con tan solo una pared blanca detrás mio, asi que decidí abrir la Guía de Destinos y fue asi como acabé en este fantástico Club de Jazz, en Serafina Island y aunque solo podais ver esta cortina roja (la encontré apropiada para el look de hoy, hehehe) es un lugar precioso en el que poder relajarte mientras escuchas buena música. ¿Conocéis algún otro lugar en el que sacar buenas fotos?

So, what was my halloween costume, you ask! You can't even imagine how much I love Alice in Wonderland, so I couldn't help but put on my old little blue dress and pair it with some cute black flats.
